Welcome to the official Music Psychology Toolbox Wiki.

The Music Psychology Toolbox aims to offer a compilation of well documented, precise and affordable soft- and hardware tools that can be used especial for empiric music research.

For now the following data can be measured:

• Airflow - measures human breathing rate and timing of breathing. Therefore it uses the temperature differences of the inhaled and exhaled air at the nose and mouth.
• Heart Rate - the pulsensor is compatible (see https://pulsesensor.com/)
• Video - video recording with raspi camera module
• Midi - Midi capable instruments can pluged in via USB to Raspberry Pi

In future it should also be possible to have:

• skin conductance
• taping rhythm/ taping board
