Silmaril Follow Systems
Silmaril provides two different forms of follow systems. Each have their own main purpose, and can be mixed and matched as needed for various playstyles.
Both follow systems settings can be found under Combat>Movement.
Silmaril Fast Follow
The main form of following is accomplished through Silmaril's Fast Follow. It allows for following while Silmaril is not actively running, without any profiles loaded, and without having to manipulate the settings page. Silmaril's Fast Follow can pass through zone lines, and also provides an onscreen visual indication of character distance when active.
Fast Follow can also be used while Silmaril is running. It will pause the Fighting and Enfeebling functions when active. This gives effective control over when battle begins, allowing for buffing to complete or gathering of enemies before beginning combat.
It is highly suggested to utlitize the JaZero plugin provided by Windower after inputting the Konami Code, as shown on the Fast Follow settings page.
This will make the game in general, much more responsive, and limit characters from falling behind or getting stuck when performing actions. Combine with the Allow interruptions if "Fast Follow" is turned on. check box to make following the priority action, just be mindful of casters needing to refresh buffs or songs. NOTE: Any Fast Follow settings modifications will be tied to a profile.
Silmaril Fast Follow Commands
//sm all follow
--Used to toggle Fast Follow on and off, will cause all characters in the same zone to follow the character this command is sent from.
//sm follow charactername
--Used for one character to follow one specific character.
//sm follow off
--Used to disable following on one specific character.
Silmaril Follow
The second form of following provided by Silmaril is simply Follow. This system requires an active profile, Silmaril to be running, and will not continue to follow through zone lines. There are no in-game commands for this follow system. All settings will need to be set through the Configuration screen and saved to a profile.
Silmaril Follow will not pause Fighting or Enfeebling while active, making it useful to keep specified characters within a certain distance of each other during combat when movement is involved or required.
Follow is available in the free version of Silmaril, and can be used as a basic follow system as needed.
