Balls are an ingredient for future use in testosterone production. It is a byproduct from melting slime.

Balls can be used as ammo in the potato cannon, causing 5 damage and inflicting nausea for 5 seconds. They take 15 ticks to reload, and are shot at a velocity of 1.25 blocks, causing 0.05 blocks of knockback.
