Today, we expanded our piezo sensor prototype by mounting it onto a larger grid, increasing the size from 300 mm to 500 mm. The new grid is divided into 15 smaller squares, each measuring 10 cm per side. We used laser cutting to fabricate the structure—wood for the main base and acrylic for the individual square sections. After assembly, we connected the ground for all 15 piezo sensors and then soldered the live wires to begin integrating and testing the full array.
