Some issues can be traced back to the configuration files stored on your local computer. To get a hard reset of the application those configuration files need to be deleted.

Find and delete the configuration files

NOTE: The configuration files can be found under %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\IdleMasterExtended\ (you can copy-paste that into Windows Explorer) if you want to browse to them manually.

  1. Open Idle Master Extended (v1.8.0 or later)

  2. Go to File > Settings and press Browse Local ApplicationData. This will open the directory for you.

  3. Select the folders you want to delete and press Delete

  4. Restart Idle Master Extended

By deleting all the directories under %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\IdleMasterExtended\ there won't be any configurations left and Idle Master Extended will create new configuration files on startup.
