Context
- Here are some plots we wanted to see in the meeting yesterday, showing the enclosed mass profiles for our best fitting model compared to the values quoted in Jonelle's N315 paper. I've also included a plot comparing the four different models Jonelle discusses in her paper, Model A, B1, B2, and B3. Note that our MGE corresponds to MGE A.
- We also were curious if the different MGEs in Jonelle's paper all had the same enclosed mass, and this does not appear to be the case. Here's the values for the enclosed mass at 100 kpc for the cases below, which differ by ~15% or so in total mass:
