Wiki; Road Map - HWRM/KarosGraveyard GitHub Wiki

An outline of the initiatives for the wiki are below. These initiatives can run in parallel, and are not sequential.

Reconstruction

Reconstruct the original Karos Graveyard on GitHub (details).

Preparations

Get the wiki ready for other contributors.

Consolidation

Consilidate other similar wikis into the Karos Graveyard on GitHub. Fandom information can be copied manually, or by converting the format like so:

• Export Fandom pages using Special:Export like so: https://hwmod.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Export
• The pages can then be converted with Pandoc from MediaWiki to GitHub's Markdown, similar to the GitHubReconstruction.
• Status: In-Progress, 10% complete

Formatting

Review existing pages, update and improve the formatting as needed.

• During the reconstruction and conversion to Markdown, HTML indent formatting was lost. Hence pages may need to be manually formatted with Markdown bullet trees.
• Update function pages to match the formatting used on the addSphere page.
• Status: In-Progress, 10% complete
  • Progress is noted at the bottom of each page in the "Page Status" section: Updated Formatting? (Initial, No, Partially, Yes, N/A)

HW2C to HWRM

Review existing pages and update the content for Homeworld Remastered as needed.

• Delete HW2C content that is no longer useful for Homeworld Remastered, and replace it with current information.
• Status: In-Progress, 10% complete
  • Progress is noted at the bottom of each page in the "Page Status" section: Updated for HWRM? (Initial, No, Partially, Yes, N/A)

HWRM Features

Add new pages and content for new features added in Homeworld Remastered.

• Leverage the Executable Strings and ThoughtDump per the Dump Reference page.
• Add new Function pages
• Update Scope pages with any new functions, or newly in scope functions
• Status: In-Progress, 5% complete
