You can configure the Firefox browser to use Purple I2P.

  • Start Purple I2P and wait at least 10 minutes:

  • Configure Firefox to use Purple I2P:

In the search bar, type about:config and accept the risk to continue

Type proxy in the search field

Enter: network.proxy.socks: 127.0.0.1, network.proxy.socks_port: 4447, network.proxy.socks_remote_dns: true, network.proxy.type: 1

  • You have access to i2p sites now.

Such combination works much better than a regular I2P browser. After configuration, you can use this browser only for i2p sites, but not for regular ones. Therefore, it is better to have a separate Firefox browser for this purpose.

Firefox recently blocked access to the about:config. You should therefore use Firefox Nightly or Fennec for this purpose.
