Brave (works for every chromium Browser)

Plugins

Sync

If you have already setup Brave with all the plugins you can use the Brave sync (Settings -> Sync) functionality to fetch the config from your other device

[!TIP] The sync feature is also great for syncing browse history's and open tabs!

Optional Plugins

  • Proton Pass: Password manager
  • Youtube Custom Speed: Set custom YouTube video speeds
    1. Default speed -> Set to custom speed -> 2.5
    2. Speed list -> Add new speed -> 2.3 and 2.5
  • SponsorBlock for YouTube: Automaticaly skip sponsor and other unnecessary YouTube Video segments
    1. Options -> Backup/Restore -> Edit/copy -> replace everything with:

📧 Mail & Chat

Thunderbird

  1. Open Thunderbird -> Settings(gear icon) -> Add-ons and Themes -> Tools for all add-ons(gear icon) -> Install Add-on from file...
  2. Select: 
    ~/.config/dotfiles/thunderbird/mocha-sapphire.xpi

Slack

  1. Open Slack -> Profile(Profile Picture) -> Preferences -> Appearance -> Custom theme -> Import
  2. Paste: 
    #1E1E2E,#F8F8FA,#74c7ec,#1E1E2E,#11111B,#CDD6F4,#74c7ec,#EBA0AC,#1E1E2E,#CDD6F4

Discord

  1. Install the betterdiscord-installer: 
    yay -s betterdiscord-installer
  2. Execute it and go throu the installation process
  3. Open Discord -> User settings(Gear icon) -> betterdiscord -> Custom CSS paste content of Catppuccin - Discord (Mocha)
  4. Click save then update

💻 Programing

Btop

Open Btop -> Press Esc -> options -> Color theme -> catppuccin_mocha

Lazygit

Theme should be automatically applied, if not, see the lazygit wiki

JetBrains IDEs

[!TIP] Befor changing anything, go to: Settings -> Backup and Sync and enable Backup and Sync, to sync your new theme to all Instances .

Plugins (Go to Settings-> Plugins)

  • Catppuchin Theme: Custom Theme
    1. Settings -> Appearance & Behaviour Appearance -> Theme -> Catppuchin Mocha and Editor color scheme -> Catppuccin Mocha
    2. Restart IDE
  • Catppuchin Icons: Custom Icons
    1. Settings -> Appearance & Behaviour Appearance -> Catppuccin Icons -> Variant -> Catppuccin Mocha
    2. Restart IDE

Additional Plugins

  • Cat Activity: Show JwtBrains activity in your Discord profile (using Catppuccin Icons)
  • IdeaVim: Vim motions for JetBrains IDEs (very important!)

🎛️ Other

  • OBS: recording/streaming
    • Open OBS -> File -> Settings -> Appearance -> Theme -> Catppuccin
