Got questions about CattyCode? Check below!

💡 What is CattyCode?

CattyCode is a block-based programming language that runs in your browser or as a desktop app. It’s designed to be fun, simple, and beginner-friendly — perfect for learning and experimenting!

🧾 Do I need an account?

Nope!
You can use CattyCode completely without an account. Even sharing your code (as screenshots) on the community Padlet doesn’t require one.

💻 Does it work offline?

Yes! Just download and run the desktop app. It works without internet access.
(You can get it from the Desktop Download Page).

🔄 How do I restart the editor?

  • Web Editor: Click the reload button to restart with a blank editor.
  • Desktop App: Close and reopen CattyCode.exe.

🛑 Will the "LOL machine" crash CattyCode?

Nope!
It might look like it spams a lot of alert boxes, but it won’t crash anything. Just don't use it in the desktop version unless you're okay with opening Task Manager to close it! 😂

📸 How do I share my projects?

Take a screenshot of your blocks and post it on the CattyCode Community Padlet.

🧱 Can I save or load projects?

Not yet!
For now, sharing screenshots is the main way to show your work.
(Save/load might be added in a future update!)

💰 How much does CattyCode cost?

It’s 100% free.
There’s no donation system either. Just download it and start coding!
