Agenda

• Jeff Newman checking on potential larch test differences by OS that are holding up the release
• Greg shared vehicle type model design update and options
  • 1. Model body type X fuel type, then sample vehicle age
  • 2. Model body type X age, then sample fuel type
  • 3. Model body type X fuel type X age
  • 4. builds off #3 but uses age in 1 year increments
• Option 4 recommended but some concern about having to adjust lots of constants for scenario analysis
• Tradeoff between tighter base year match versus flexibility for future year analysis
• Simpler approach is option 1 or 2
• All four options have been estimated but need some refinement/testing
• Could add more attributes on vehicle characteristics (like MPG)
• Check to make sure works with EMFAC too; not just MOVES
• @Greg to test application of the model with the estimation data set to better understand usability of the approach
• @Greg share estimation results
• @Partners to review options and decide by next Tuesday
• Thursday get update on visualization task, discuss IRFP, discuss vehicle type model
