We'll plan to release at the end of Phase 5; we can add a "feature still under development note" in the user guide for estimation mode for trip models
Much of ActivitySim work will happen under different projects and timelines (i.e. concurrently) so its to be expected that some users will be using develop branch software and others will be using master/released software
Quick Phase 5 tasks update
Task 1: Project Management - largely complete
Task 2: Strategic Development and Contribution Plan - draft complete
Task 3: Support for Two Zone Systems - largely complete, need to document
Task 4: Input and Output Improvements - largely complete
Task 5: Support for Modeling TNCs and For-Hire Vehicles - largely complete
Task 6: Model Developer Tutorial - largely complete
Task 7: Performance Tuning - funds reallocated to estimation mode (and maybe multiple zones) as needed
DaySim style blending has been implemented; for now, other types of blending will need to be done in an inputs pre-processor
With #325 done, I'll now work on documentation for two zone systems
Task 10 Support for Three Zone Systems and TVPB (milestone)
Jeff back from vacation and getting started again
Basic support for calculating transit virtual path logsums is working; TVPB is all on-demand
Plan to work of retaining the tvpb path choice (boarding tap + path skim set + alighting tap) information, including adding to the relevant pipeline tables such as tour, trip, etc.
And then performance / caching for most of August
Continued discussion on how to develop a more useful example for testing; the current idea is to:
Run travel model two
Convert the outputs to the format required for input to activitysim tour mode choice
Convert the travel model two skims to activitysim three zone format inputs as well
This becomes the three zone system / TVPB test example - just tm2 tour mode choice
This gives us the benefit of comparing results, runtimes, etc. with our activitysim tm1 example
